Should I even whimper?
MakesMeLookSmart is still going strong at 143k miles. Repairs to date: - AC Freon leak at 44,230 miles - Dealer said "New Condenser, hit by rock, no warranty, $1200", Fixed for $80 by stop leak chemical and some Freon. - "Brake Chirp" at 104,974 miles - Covered by a TSB, Dealer said "New pads, rotors due to corrosion, $550", Fixed for $30 by bleeding front left brake cylinder. Don't believe everything a dealer says! Still Original: 200v battery, 12v Battery (showing some weakening), MFD, Brakes. Normal Maintenance: Oil (synthetic) & Filter every 5k miles Air & Cabin filters every 30k miles ATF (Type WS) every 60k miles Plugs, PCV, and Coolant (both loops) at 100k miles New Tires at 44.5k, 99.5k ...
