Hi,
I recently ordered and should next week have a 2010 Prius but I live in Huntsville AL. Three months ago, I had to choose the dealer but the Huntsville dealer had 'pissed me off' one too many times. So I arbitrarily chose the Decatur dealership because I needed a change. Today, I figured out what anyone who lives in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, or Alabama should know:
- Jacksonville FL is the shipping port for SouthEast Toyota - all of their cars come into this port.
- With hindsight, I wished I'd found Keith Pierson Toyota of Jacksonville FL first. - They are located in the same city as the Southeast Toyota port in Jacksonville FL. NOTE: I have no business association with them and am passing this on under 'lessons learned:'

If we ever have to buy another Toyota, I'll give them a call first. Southwest Airlines flies into Jacksonville, FL and I suspect they'll either come out to the airport to pick you up and/or there should be an affordable cab or shuttle service. This note may help other folks save a little on the shipping cost, $700 to Alabama, and you can drive your new car back home.
