| Chevy Volt after 40 miles Saw this article on slashdot. Hopefully the Volt works out well for GM. I've already got my Prius so I won't be in the market for another car for a while barring an accident or something. Now I just need someone to make a fuel efficient minivan for my wife. (She's currently thinking of getting a hybrid highlander but I'd like something with better fuel efficiency.) |

| What a worthless article! The question is, "What is the MPG after the battery is drained?". My best calculation is that the Volt will be hard pressed to get 25-30 MPG at highway speeds after the battery is drained (much less than 40 miles at highway speed). JeffD |
