I was looking at the EPA fueleconomy.gov web site and found six user records of 49-51 mpg for the Insight. The three local records are in the same range. This suggests the EPA predicted mileage is unkind to the Insight in actual use. It might be interesting if someone were to pickup the individual EPA test results and compare them to the Prius.

Comparing the different EPA test results may give a clue to how to maximize Insight performance ... just a thought. For example, was it cold weather testing? Current mileage records are summer driving so I'm just wondering.
