That's funny. Funny, becuase it does not say that only 4% of the corn uses irrigation.
Talk to God if you think corn uses too much rain water, which, if you have ever been to Iowa or Minnesota, is generally plentiful... not to mention, ( ok mention ) IL, IN, OH, MO, MS, and pretty much every place corn is grown east of Kansas.
As far as subsidies go, get the facts man! Most go to oil companies, and very little.... 1.5% by your own posts, goes to the farmers who help ethanol producers. I'm in favor of ethanol, and I'm in favor of taking away the subsidies! You are correct in the fact that they are not needed! Talk to your congressman!
