I had a chance to check out a Fusion at a local dealership a few weeks ago. Although I didn't ask for a test-drive or even a test-ride, I must say I was QUITE impressed by what I saw.
We're still in a "negative equity" situation with our '08 Prius, but perhaps a year or two from now we'll be in a position to seriously consider a used Fusion as a replacement for our '97 Stratus ... we purchased it new, and my wife now uses it almost exclusively for commuting to-and-from work and for her seemingly twice-daily shopping trips! I'd simply LOVE it if my wife's 'round-town driving could improve from 16-20 mpg to perhaps 35-40 .... |
